Saving BIG at Home Depot

We are so close to finishing our basement. We just finished the tile in the bathroom and had the plumber over to "hook-up" everything. The only thing left is trim...this stage is so hard because we are so ready to be done! With summer rolling around I know many people get out there project to-do list. A couple money saving tricks for you:

Price-match: Many stores will price match, you can save a lot of money just by calling around to see who has the best deal.

Competitor Coupons: Home Depot will accept Competitor Coupons. Many of us have Harbor Freight Coupons from recent Smart Sources, Home Depot will accept the 20% off 1 item Coupon. Check with the cashier before you ring up. Some will let you use multiple Coupons in one transaction and some want to you separate transactions and only use one Coupon per transaction.

Home-Improver Club: You will definitely want to sign-up for Home Depot's Home Improver Club, they send weekly emails with awesome high value Coupons! Remember you can have the emails sent to your "Couponing" email account.

Leave a comment with any money saving suggestions!

Christmas Lights Trade-In @ Home Depot!

From November 5th-15th, Home Depot stores are offering a $3 coupon for each set of old Christmas lights you trade in! Coupon can then be used on the new LED lights, which will be temporarily priced at $5.97. Trade in old lights and get new, much more efficient lights for only $2.97 each! Customers can bring in up to 5 sets each.

Did you know LED lights:

Use 80% less energy than traditional incandescent holiday lights.

ENERGY STAR® qualified

Can last up to 10 times longer than traditional incandescent lights.

Are cool to the touch, reducing the risk of fire.

Do not have moving parts, filaments or glass, so they are much more durable shock-resistant than other lights.

The amount of electricity consumed by just one 7-watt incandescent bulb could power 140 LEDs- enough to light two 24 foot strings!

I'm actually excited about this trade-in! Go here to find a Home Depot location near you.

Thanks, Utah Deal Diva!
