Coupons and Organization...now what?
Saturday, January 1, 2011 at 1:19PM The end of the month is coming and many of my coupons set to expire will be devalued to "1/100¢" (or whatever the heck the fine print states). To alleviate the pain of losing all of those potential deals, I have devised the C.O.R.E. Plan:
(1) Check and Chuck Send: Check expiration dates on all of my coupons and chuck send the ones that are now worthless (UPDATE: Worthless to most of us...but you can send your expired coupons to our Military overseas! That is COOL! Click here for details.)

(2) Organize: There are so many methods out there, but I prefer the notebook/baseball card sleeve approach. I use an awesome notebook I bought on Amazon
. Click on the picture below to check it out on Amazon. You can also get FREE Two-Day shipping through Amazon Prime. I separate my Coupons with dividers by category that they are found in the store, they are as follows:
1. Spices/Sauces/Candy
2. Baking/Bread
3. Breakfast [including cereal, oatmeal, breakfast bars, etc].
4. Snacks [crackers, chips, cookies]
5. Frozen [meals, pizza, ice cream]
6. Canned Goods [beans, vegetables, tomatoes]
7. Produce
8. Meat
9. Beverages [soda, coffee, juice, bottled water]
10. Baby
11. Household [laundry, soaps, paper towels]
12. Cleaning
13. Hair Products [shampoo, hair color]
14. Toiletries [feminine products, body wash, makeup]
15. Oral Care [toothpaste, toothbrushes, mouthwash]
