I was lucky enough to receive a 40lb box of the fresh chicken breast for our family to try.  It took me about an hour to trim and divide the chicken.  Very little time was spent trimming fat, rather I cut them into strips, cubes, and single-serve breasts before placing them into ziploc bags for freezing.    

 

 When you pick up your chicken, it is packaged in a 40lb box.  Inside the box are 4 x 10lb bags.  If 40lbs seems like too much chicken for you, it would be an easy option to split the order with another family (or more).  The total price for the box o' chicken = $59.20.    

For the Spokane area, the fall delivery is scheduled for October 30, 2010.  The registration deadline is October 22, 2010.  You can prepay for your order when you register (let them know Confessions of a Couponaholic referred you), and pick it up at one of four convenient Spokane locations.  Registration is quick and easy, as it takes just a couple of minutes to set up your information.  Zaycon will safeguard your information.  The other location pickup dates are scheduled from October 30-November 13.  The next delivery will be @ the end of March.  This means you will want to plan ahead by ordering enough chicken to last you about 5 months.  Oh yeah, when you go to pick it up, you don't even have to get out of your car.
